We are announcing our traditional walk, for 2025 fall.
4 October 2025
The plan:
- We meet at the bus stop at the university at 9:45 and take bus 13 to Pallag (have tickets!).
- From Pallag, we walk through the forested area to Bocskaikert.
- In Bocskaikert, we have lunch in "Véndiófa Csárda", self-financed. (Depending on the attendance number, it may take some time for everybody to get served.)
- After lunch, depending on time and energy considerations, we may head towards Pallag or Józsa.
- If we are running low on time/energy, the destination is Pallag (1,5 hour walk). There we can have a drink in "Pallagi Presszó". From there we can either walk back to Debrecen through the forest or take a bus.
- If we have more time/energy, we can head towards Józsa (2,5 hour walk). There we can visit either "Fapados Presszó" or "Deszka gyros&streetfood". Then we can either walk back to Debrecen through the forest or take a bus.
- Estimated time of arrival back to Debrecen: between 18-19h.
