Writing Center

Information about the Writing Center of IEAS

· Would you like to get feedback on your essay from your fellow senior students before submitting it?

· Do you have questions about how to improve your term paper, how to use MLA or other styles, what academic sources proper mean, what databases you can use and how you can get access to them?

· Would you need some guidance regarding the written components of the EYE?

If so, you are at the right place! We are accepting applications on a rolling basis. If you would like to get feedback on your essays/written assignments for free from a tutor at IEAS Writing Center throughout the semester, send us an email (ieas (dot) writing (dot) center (at) gmail.com) with some basic information about your written task:

  • course title,
  • professor's name,
  • word count, title of the essay (if applicable) and, if possible, the essay itself attached,
  • and the due date.

All of these, in this order, no narrative is necessary, stick to the mere data, instead.

We will put you in touch with a tutor who will contact you about your essay and you will work together using the E-Learning system.

We will provide more information about the oncoming steps, the guidelines for tutees, basic rules, etc. once your data are processed and you are in E-Learning.

Mind, there is a certain amount of time necessary for the coordinators to get the two of you in contact, as well as for the tutor to get to your work(s), so you have to be conscious of sending your text(s) well before its due date for the respective course. Essays submitted one single day prior to your own deadline cannot be considered by the Writing Center.

We look forward to working with you in 2023 as well.
