Gabriella Moise has been teaching at the Department of British Studies of the Institute of English and American Studies, University of Debrecen since 2002. She gained her Ph.D. in October, 2012. The title of the dissertation is “The Butterfly’s Wing Clamped together with the Bolts of Iron”—Sentient Spaces and Bodies in the “Flesh” of Virginia Woolf’s To the Lighthouse. Her main teaching and research fields include the theory of visual culture, art history (with special emphasis on contemporary art), Modernist literature and aesthetics, contemporary art photography and street art as social and activist practices.
