Message for Students

írta: Dr. Ureczky Eszter
Dear Students,
We would like to inform you that the Institute as well as the University are doing their best to find a feasible solution for this unexpected situation, that is, transferring our education to distance learning. All of us are busy finding the best possible methods, so we ask your patience in the upcoming days. You were already advised to check your Neptun messages regularly, we can but encourage this practice, too. IEAS’s website will operate as a primary information platform for you, especially with respect to course syllabi that are being adjusted to the new scheduling during this week by the instructors. You are also asked to check the Institute’s Facebook page, as well as other Institute related pages (IEAS Library, departmental pages, IEAS International Students FB group, IEAS Mental Health Awareness Workshops, etc.), for regular updates.
We are all aware of the unprecedented anxiety you all encounter. Yet, besides worrying about elderly family members, curbed social facilities, in many cases, your children you have to take care of, quite a lot of you worry about your studies, the fate of your academic year. We face alike concerns and fears, so it is our own goal not to make this situation even more burdensome or impossible to accomplish. Please, do reach out to us, voice your concerns over, for instance, having reliable internet connection, access to study materials; email your instructors if you have any special needs. Office hours will naturally be also held, primarily through email, by individual arrangement, possibly through video chat.
All necessary information will be sent out to you continually this week.
Keep calm, take care of yourselves, and be tuned!
Best wishes,
The Faculty and Staff of IEAS
