Grant W. Currier

Grant Currier is a visiting Fulbright teaching assistant at the Institute of English and American Studies for the 2023-2024 academic year. Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, he has taught at a number of universities and recently graduated from Oklahoma State University. He specializes in fiction rhetorics and post-apocalyptic literature since 1900. Tracing his maternal ancestry back to Szakácsi, Hungary, he looks forward to investigating his heritage and studying the Hungarian language more. With several published book reviews, poems, and stories, he is currently searching for a publisher for his dissertation: a linked story collection of a Hungarian-American family in post-war America and the miracle-working relative they exploit.
