György Kiss is a PhD candidate of the Doctoral School of Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Debrecen in Hungary. He focuses primarily on disability and Victorian studies, with his current research centered on blind female characters and other representations of disabled women in Victorian fiction. His other main research area is the history and genres of British and American children’s and young adult literature.
