Andrea Szávó is a PhD student in the Linguistics Section of the Doctoral School of Linguistics, Literary and Cultural Studies, and an assistant lecturer at the Department of English Linguistics. Her current line of research focuses on the syntax and semantics of inner aspect in languages such as Hungarian, English and Spanish. Previously she has also carried out research into the second language acquisition of inner aspect and has been a member of a third language acquisition research project. Between August 2024 and January 2025 she was a Fulbright Visiting Student Researcher at the Department of Linguistics at the University of Texas at Austin.
