Éva Pataki received her PhD at the Doctoral School of Literary and Cultural Studies at the University of Debrecen in 2015. Her main area of research is postcolonial and postmodern literature, with a specific focus on contemporary South Asian diaspora literature and film. Her fields of interest also include Cultural Studies, Gender Studies, and a comprehensive study of the issue of identity. She has been teaching courses on American literature and culture since 2016 and at the North American Department since 2021.
