Her main research field is the history of American drama, with special emphasis on postmodern and contemporary American drama, more specifically female and ethnic playwrights' works. Her other academic interests include American modern and postmodern poetry, American arts, literary stylistics and teaching English through literature. She is Associate editor for the Hungarian Journal of English and American Studies.
