Americans of Hungarian descent visited the Summer University on Monday. During the day, they toured the Egyetem tér campus and learned about methods for studying the Hungarian language, after which they visited the city’s sights. During their trip to Hungary, they are visiting numerous locations in the region, including Tarcal, Mád, Szilvásvárad, and Boldogkőváralja.
The DokLing lecture series offers a professional forum for doctoral students conducting research in the field of theoretical linguistics to discuss their results and collect feedback.
The Department of English Linguistics's traditional walk, for the spring semester of 2026, will take place on 31 May.
