The organizers of the 3rd Debrecen International Graduate and Postgraduate Workshop invite proposals in the fields of English and American Studies for presentations to be given at our on-site conference held at the Institute of English and American Studies, University of Debrecen, Hungary. Any proposal dealing with the literature, culture, and history of the English-speaking world will be considered, and preference will be given to active PhD students. Abstracts should be 250 words, and submissions should also include three keywords and a short bio of not more than 50 words.

Transportation
From Nagyállomás (Grand Railway Station): take Bus 10 or Tram 1 to the "University" stop.
Trams operate every 6-8 minutes during morning hours. Timetables can be found here and here.
DKV accepts Hungary and Hajdú-Bihar County passes on public transportation. Tickets can be purchased directly from drivers, the ticket office in front of the railway station, or online via Simple or through the BudapestGo App.

Throughout the conference you will be offered cold plates and pastries, as well as coffee, tea, water, and soft drinks. Attendees who wish to have a warm meal can visit one of the nearby eateries during the lunch break between 12:00 – 13:00.
