The research group Hungary in Medieval Europe of the Institute of History of the Faculty of Humanities at the University of Debrecen has recently hosted an international historians' conference titled “Political, cultural, religious, and economic transformations in the 15th and 16th centuries.” There were two honorary doctors of the institute giving talks at the conference.

The latest group of international students arriving for the spring semester at the University of Debrecen have been recently treated to a Welcome Dinner, consisting of a traditional Hungarian meal and a folk dance party. This year, the largest number of the students have come from France and Turkey. In addition to Hungarian gastronomy and folklore, these students participating in the international mobility programs also got to know their peer-partners, who will facilitate their integration into our university.
